사회학과

이영희 교수는 가톨릭대학교 사회학과 교수이다. 연세대학교 사회학과에서 학사, 석사, 박사학위를 받았다. 영국 맨체스터대학교의 방문연구원과 한국 과학기술정책연구원(STEPI)의 선임연구원을 거쳐, 1998년부터 가톨릭대학교 사회학과에서 근무하고 있다. 환경사회학, 정보사회학, 과학기술사회학, 지식/전문성의 정치와 민주주의, 시민참여와 공론화 등의 주제를 중심으로 연구와 강의를 하고 있다. 한국비판사회학회 회장, 한국과학기술학회 회장, 시민과학센터 소장, 시민환경연구소 소장 등을 역임했다. 대표 저서로는 <포드주의와 포스트 포드주의>, <과학기술의 사회학: 과학기술과 현대사회에 대한 성찰>, <과학기술과 민주주의: 시민을 위한, 시민에 의한 과학기술>, <전문가주의를 넘어: 과학기술, 환경, 민주주의> 등이 있다.

Professor Young Hee Lee is Professor in the Department of Sociology at The Catholic University of Korea. He received bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from the Department of Sociology at Yonsei University. He conducts research and lectures on topics such as sociology of environment, sociology of information, sociology of science and technology, politics of knowledge and expertise and democracy, citizens participation and public deliberation. His books include <Fordism and Post-Fordism>, <Sociology of Science and Technology>, <Science, Technology and Democracy>, <Beyond Expert-centrism: Technoscience, Environment, and Democracy>.
